Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has built new water channel along 20 centimeters in RT 01/02, Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendi conveyed, new channel was built to add connecting channel from residential area to main channel.
"Channel construction work began on August 2, 2021 and was completed yesterday," he said, Wednesday (8/7).
Connecting Channel on Jalan Basoka Raya DredgedIn building the new channel, his side used 4-inch pipe and installed manhole to make it easier for maintenance and cleaning.
"We deploy five personnel from local SDA Unit to build it. This new channel is expected to prevent inundation in surrounding area," he stated.
